Some people prefer to work individually with us on a particular issue, for example, recovering stamina after an illness or hospitalization, building up strength in preparation for a surgery or for upcoming travel plans, or updating a home exercise regimen.
Or there might be some activity you’d like to be able to do again – play tennis, walk to the shopping center, sit on the floor, retrieve your luggage from the overhead compartment of an airplane, hike, or swim.
Maybe you’d like to insure your ability to continue certain activities, such as taking public transportation, using the stairs in your building, hiking, or doing your own shopping.
A simple and targeted therapeutic exercise program can help you reach these kinds of goals.
The first appointment will include a thorough functional fitness evaluation and will get you started on your therapeutic exercise program. It may take another few sessions to complete instruction and adjust your program to get it just right. Later on, we will have a follow up appointment to evaluate your progress in terms of your goals.
Sometimes, people who have had a series of individual sessions choose to join one of our group classes in order to maintain their gains.
